Amaretto Chocolate Chip Pie

After such a large meal, who has room for dessert? Here is a dessert that will please many at the table. Have a Merry Christmas!


3 eggs

3/4 cup dark corn syrup

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup amaretto

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1 unbaked pie crust

Whipped cream for garnish


Preheat oven to 350℉.


In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs until blended. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter, salt, and amaretto. Add chocolate chips and almonds. Pour into unbaked pie crust. Bake 50 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted between the center and pie edges comes out clean. Cool completely. Top with whipped cream and serve.
