It's berry season. Blue and black berries are plentiful. Here's a couple of recipes for those fresh picked treats.
2 cups fresh blackberries
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 cup halved green grapes
2 tablespoon chopped mint
2 tablespoons cane syrup
1 teaspoon lime zest
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
In a medium bowl, combine blackberries, blueberries, grapes, mint, cane syrup, and lime zest and juice. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Top with coconut just before serving. Garnish with lime slices, if desired.
