Pesto Sauce from Cannon's Restaurant
This is one of my favorite sauces. You can toss it into spaghetti, top grilled meat, or mix it into reduced heavy cream to make a pesto cream sauce. One of Italy's culinary imports.
1 1/2 cups Fresh basil
3 tablespoons Garlic, chopped
1/4 cup Pine Nuts
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Olive OIl
Place all ingredients in a blended and blend into a paste. Store in refrigerator in a sealed container for a week.
