Ponzu is a Japanese citrus-based sauce. You can buy bottles of it at your local store. This recipe is a dipping sauce great with fried seafood. It was developed by chef Holly Goetting of Charley G's restaurant in Lafayette. This recipe was included in the Abita Beer: Cooking Louisiana True cookbook.
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh Lime Juice
1 tablespoon Mirin
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
Whisk the mayonnaise, soy sauce, vinegar, lime juice, Kirin and sesame oil in a small bowl.
