Praline Chicken Salad Pitas

The filling is something that you can sperad on regular bread or crackers. The pita makes for a great presentatipn.


1 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Creole mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon kosher salt

3 cups finely chopped rotisserie chicken

1/2 cup diced celery

1/4 cup chopped green onion

1 cup candied pecans

4 white pitas

Garnish: lettuce, tomato slices


in a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.

In a large bowl, toss together, chicken celery, adn green onion. Add mayonnaise mixture, stirring until combined. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Fold pecans into chicken mixture. Place 1/2 cup chicken mixture on each pita; garnish with lettuce and tomato slices, if desired, and fold in half. Serve immediately.
