This is not an original recipe. It is straight off of the Nestle’s Chocolate Chip bag. The reason that I am posting it is this is the very first recipe that I ever made by myself. When I was 8, my mother allowed me to make the chocolate chip cookies. I have been cooking ever since.
2 1/4 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Butter, softened
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 large Eggs
2 cups Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Optional 1 cup chopped Nuts, added when you add the chocolate chips.
Enjoy!!!
