Grilled Oysters

Updated: Mar 21, 2021

Oysters are my favorite seafood. They are so many ways you can prepare them. This week, I will share two ways. The first preparation is one that you have seen before, Grilled Oysters. The main difference is this one contains no cheese.

2 dozen Oysters in shells

1/2 cup unsalted Butter, melted

1/2 pound Bacon, cooked and crumbled

2 tablespoons fresh Parsley, finely chopped

Preheat grill to medium-high (350 to 400℉). Evenly place oysters along the grates. Grill for 5 minutes with lid closed. Check oysters to see if the shells have started to open. Remove any open oysters, and continue grilling closed oysters for 2 more minutes or until oysters open. Carefully open the oysters using an oven mitt and oyster knife. Discard the top shells and loosen the oysters from the bottom shell. Drizzle oysters with approximately 1 teaspoon butter and top with bacon and parsley. Serve immediately.

Enjoy!!!
