Louisiana Marinade

With grilling season upon us, I thought I would share a couple of marinades for the season. They are great for Flank Steak
6 cloves gaarlic, minced
2 tablespoons Steen's cane syrup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup red wine
1/4 cup orange juice
Combine garlic, syrup, tomato paste, Creole seasoning, and wine in a mixing bowl, whisk well. Whisk in soy sauce, wine and orange juice; pour mixture into a lagre plastic zip-lock storage bag or non-reactive container.
Place meat in bag, refirgetate overnigh, turning at least twice. Grill to your licking.
